Weekly OpportunitiesThree Night Stay (Grades 4-7)This amazing experience is for girls entering grades 4-7. This full week of camp begins Monday with a basic camp session. Tuesday, girls arrive ready to spend the next three nights at camp. Beginning with dinner Tuesday, they receive breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, plus evening activities. At the end of camp day Friday, campers return home having accomplished a great feat – staying away from home for three consecutive days/evenings! Girls may not choose a horse unit with the Three-Night Stay; this is a full unit of activities.
CampfiresCampfires are offered to campers every week. Girls stay after the basic camp session ends. Dinner, activities and the campfire are provided. Parents/Guardians are responsible for transportation. The campfire program runs until 8 p.m.
One-Night OvernightThe overnight experience is for girls entering the fourth grade and older. Those who register will participate in the campfire program. Those staying overnight are given a snack, added activities, breakfast and lunch the following day.
Instructional SwimGirls participate in the American Red Cross Whales Tales instructional swim program. This one and one-half hour session each day focuses on both water safety and swimming instruction. Each Monday, girls are evaluated to determine their abilities, so that they may be placed in level-appropriate groups. Each girls' progress is charted, and as they continue with the program, they will move up to another level after the appropriate skills are mastered. All girls participating in this program will receive a certificate at the end of each week, documenting their proficiency at each level.
