Who can attend camp?

Camp is open to all girls, ages 3 through 15. Sacajawea Day Camp also accepts girls and boys, ages 3 -4, in our newly formed Firefly Unit and continues to accepts boys, ages 5 through 11, with sisters in camp, into our Tag-A-Long unit. Tag-A-Long activities are entirely separate from the girls, except for free swim.

Can my daughter go to camp with her friends?

Girls who wish to attend camp as part of the same unit must qualify for the same grade group. Paperwork for all girls should be submitted at the same time. If a unit fills before a friend registers, it may not be possible to honor the request.

Do you have any “Bring A Friend” bonuses?

For every new friend that a veteran camper brings to camp, each girl will receive a $5 credit to the camp store. Just mention both names to the camp registrar.

Are these Girl Scout camps?

Sacajawea Day Camp is a camp for ALL girls, operated by the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore. Girls do not have to have a previous affiliation with Girl Scouts. However, all girls ages 5-18 who register for camp must be a registered member of Girl Scouts of the USA. Those who are not registered Girl Scouts must pay an additional $12 fee to join this national organization.
