Camp StaffAmity Acres Day Camp and Sacajawea Day Camp are comprised of adult and youth counselors. All staff members are required to attend Pre-Camp Training. The staff ratio is generally 10 campers to one staff member. Change FeeAfter May 1, 2010, requests for changes in weeks, changing units or instructional swim schedules will result in a $15 administrative fee per change. Payment PlanPayment plans are available for those who wish to register for multiple weeks of camp. The balance for each week of camp must be paid in full no later than one week prior to the 1st day of that camp week. Lunch and SnackCampers are required to bring their own lunch and snack labeled with a name. Water is available at all times. Campers must bring a reusable water bottle clearly labeled with their name; there are no paper cups at camp. No lunch is needed on Wednesday. Everyone participates in a special cookout where campers select the menu. Those with allergies or who don't like the selection can still bring a meal of their own. Trading Post/Camp StoreA variety of items to meet your camp needs and camp souvenirs are available in the camp store/ trading post. Camper parents/guardians may choose to set up an account for their child prior to the start of camp. Bus ServiceSacajawea Day Camp offers optional bus service from many convenient locations. The cost is $55 per week, per child. The week of July 6 is prorated to $44. Extended DayBefore and after care is available for an additional fee. Before-care hours are from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and after-care hours are from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The cost is $10 per session (a.m. or p.m.) per day.Children usually swim for part of the after care program activities. Camp T-ShirtsAs our way of thanking you for choosing Sacajawea Day Camp, each camper will receive one camp T-shirt. Please be sure to choose a size when completing the registration form. If you do not choose a size on your application, your child will receive an Adult Small. Extra camp t-shirts may be purchased at the camp store / trading post for $10 per shirt. |
