Camp is supposed to be a fun place to be for EVERYONE. The best way to make this happen is to be certain that all campers, CPAs, CITs, and staff are aware of, and follow, the camp guidelines. These guidelines are meant to keep each camper and staff member safe, while ensuring respect for them and their property.
Please review the following Code of Conduct and intial each piece as a means of showing you have read, understand and agree to our code.
1. Remember that I represent myself and my family, and my behavior should be appropriate; our guidelines are the Girl Scout Promise and Law; we expect all of our staff & campers to follow these guidelines at all times. (*)

2. I will respect all people I come in contact with, especially other campers, camp staff, and visitors. I will refrain from fighting, hitting, biting, pushing and any other aggressive or hostile behavior. (*)

3. I will be sensitive to the needs of others and will not discriminate based on others’ differences such as age, race, ethnicity, gender, disability, body type, or religion. Accordingly, I will not verbally abuse others by using foul language, gossip, threats, teasing, harassment, or exclusion. (*)

4. I will listen to my supervisors and co-workers at all times and respect their privacy and personal space. This includes, but is not limited to, refraining from physical and verbal abuse, ignoring, defiance, hanging on, dunking in the pool, or conduct that becomes overly aggressive. (*)

Items forbidden in camp include, but are not limited to: illegal substances including drugs and alcohol, electrical devices including cell phones and iPods (unless being used for a camp purpose ie. attendance), pets, weapons or look-a-likes, precious valuables and medications. Campers must report to the health supervisor for the administration of medications. (*)

Camp Program Aides are responsible for the above behavioral guidelines. Sacajawea Day Camp reserves the right to release from their position any one who violates the above contract. Parents or guardians are responsible for picking up a minor should inappropriate behavior be exhibited. Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment for everyone, and this may only be accomplished through honesty, fairness, and respect for all people! (*)

The staff dress code for Sacajawea Day Camp is as follows:
Closed-toe shoes at all times unless otherwise instructed.
If wearing a swimsuit, it should be modest and a one piece suit.
On Mondays Camp Program Aides must wear this year's CPA shirt which you will recieve your first day of mentoring/camp program aiding.
On Tuesdays - Fridays, CPAs will wear a CPA shirt either from the CPA shirts they have been given this year or in previous years.
Any appropriately worded sweatshirt may be worn over the CPA shirt.
