Cooking is about more than creating a delicious meal. It teaches children math skills, comprehension and real-life science while improving self-esteem. For each of these programs, girls spend half their day making delicious treats and meals; during the remainder of the camp day, they participate in traditional camp activities.
Cupcake Wars (No camp July 4)
Come learn to bake creative, professional style cupcakes. Over the course of this week you will learn not only to work with interesting flavor options but also different techniques to pull off a variety of themes.

Think you know everything about cooking at camp? Take all the tried and true cookout foods you’re used to, and turn them on their heads by creating some brand new recipes to take to your next cookout.

Discover how to make, bake, fill and decorate all sorts of cakes! In this program, you will create a show piece cake, sure to be the hit of any party. Learn how to pipe icing with a variety of tips, and develop skills working with a variety of decorating mediums, such as royal icing, candy clay and fondant. All your hard work and new skills will add up to a sea creature themed cake to bring home with you on Friday.
