Girl Scouts is the best leadership experience for girls in the world, created for girls by girls. Girls, eighth grade and older, are eligible to participate in our leadership programs. Girls who successfully complete the CPA program are eligible to be hired as camp staff at age 15. (Completion of the program does not guarantee future employment.)
Camp Program Aide (CPA) • Leadership
July 1 - 12 (Two Weeks) (No camp July 4)
Recognition: Program Aide Pin, Wonders of Water LiA, CPA shirt
Leadership ability, communication, outdoor skills and an ability to mentor younger campers are all lessons that will benefit a girl throughout life. Girls who successfully complete the program may be invited to apply for extended mentorship.
Girls MUST attend all days of CPA training.
Added Bonus: Once girls successfully complete the entire two-week leadership program, they are eligible to apply for up to two weeks of CPA Mentorship.
June 24 - July 5 (Two Weeks)

This is the leadership program for girls interested in becoming a CPA specializing in aquatics. While focusing on the foundations of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Tomorrow program we emphasize water safety, fitness, response, leadership and professionalism. Girls must be able to swim 25 yards without becoming tired, breathless or stopping for breath.
Added Bonus: Once girls successfully complete the entire two-week program, they will be eligible to apply for up to two weeks of CPA Mentorship.
Camp Program Aide (CPA) • Mentorship
Recognition: CIT I Pin after the first 2 weeks of Mentorship
The CPA Leadership experience isn’t just for one summer. Girls can share their leadership and outdoor skills with younger campers under the guidance of senior camp staff.
Girls who complete the 2019 CPA Leadership program are eligible to apply for up to two weeks of mentoring this summer.
Those who completed the program in previous years (2016-2018) may apply for up to three weeks.
There is no cost to participate in this program, although additional add on fees will still apply.

After completing the CPA Leadership experience in any year, girls have the opportunity to build their confidence and leadership skills in one specific camp activity – archery, boating, equestrian, or ropes.
